Logistics - refers to activities that occur within the boundaries of a single organization.
Supply Chain - refers to network of companies that coordinate their actions to deliver such as procurement, distribution, maintenance, and inventory management.

Supply chain management acknowledges all of the traditional logistics, but adds activities such as marketing, new product development, finance, and customer service.

It views the supply chain and the organizations in it as a single entity. It brings a system approach to understanding and managing the different activities needed to coordinate the flow of products and services to best serve the ultimate customer. The system approach provides the framework in which to best respond to business requirements that otherwise would seem to be in conflict with each other.

Property investment turnover increased by 34% to RMB287 million (2007: RMB214 million). At 30 June 2008,the size of our investment property portfolio had increased to 262,000 sq.m. of leasable GFA (31 December 2007:253,000 sq.m.).


Profit attributable to shareholders was RMB1,778 million or HK$1,938 million, an increase of 62% over that ofthe corresponding period in 2007 (2007: RMB1,098 million or HK$1,109 million).


Excluding the effect of revaluation of investment properties and fair value adjustment on derivative financialinstruments, the underlying profit attributable to shareholders was RMB1,577 million or HK$1,719 million, anincrease of 70% over that of the corresponding period in 2007 (2007: RMB930 million or HK$939 million).


Earnings per share was RMB42 cents or HK46 cents (2007: RMB26 cents or HK26 cents), an increase of 62%.
An interim dividend in respect of the six months ended 30 June 2008 of HK7 cents (2007: HK5 cents) per sharehas been declared.


At 30 June 2008, the Group’s total landbank amounted to approximately 13.2 million sq.m. of GFA (of which 9.8million sq.m. are attributable to shareholders of the Company), comprising 8 projects that span over 6 cities,namely Shanghai, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Wuhan, Dalian and Foshan.


Total assets increased to approximately RMB35.4 billion (31 December 2007: RMB29.9 billion).


Total equity was RMB18.7 billion, of which RMB17.5 billion was attributable to shareholders of the Company(31 December 2007: total equity was RMB16.7 billion and RMB15.9 billion attributable).


Net debt was RMB5,440 million (31 December 2007: RMB3,375 million). Net debt to total equity ratio (“netgearing ratio”) increased to 29% as of 30 June 2008 (31 December 2007: 20%).

The Board has declared the payment of HK7 cents (equivalent to RMB6.1 cents) (2007: HK5 cents (equivalent toRMB4.8 cents)) per share as the interim dividend in respect of 2008.

華能(0902.HK)母公司47.5億人民幣獲正寧南煤田開採權

引述《21世紀經濟報道》，甘肅儲量大的正寧南煤田在年多前，由華亭煤業以「天價」47.5億元(人民幣‧下同)投得開採權，及至去年8月市傳華亭未能支付首期款項9.5億元，但遭華亭否認。不過，甘肅省國土資源廳今年8月15日公布，華亭申請退出正寧南煤田開發建設，並已獲國土資源部同意。報道引述正寧縣政務信息中心副主任杜攀峰，指華能(0902.HK)(0902.HK - 新聞 - 公司資料)母公司華能集團已以原價，取得正寧南煤田的開採權。正寧南煤田地質儲量逾18億噸，位於甘肅慶陽市，華能集團獲得的開採權部份位於南礦區塊。該區塊面積約88.18平方千米，查明礦產資源總量約6.8億噸，加上潛在礦產資源約2.5億噸，合共約9.3億噸。

華能電力母公司投資5億元,與陝西省政府合建平西鐵路,改善電煤運輸.

上邊做法,都會係明年同後年反應出來.都係可以穩定煤價以防明年和後年缺電情況更嚴重.

同時902獲批加價5.67%至22.51/兆瓦時(含增值稅). 大陸再次批准加電價.其實唔小工廠係平均每星期都有1-2日停電情形下,都已經買柴油發電機發電.相比加5-10%電費.工廠相信都寧可要一個貴小小的穩定供應. 同時係宏觀去睇,工廠柴油發電機同電廠大型發電機比.係相對高污染同時相對效能較低. 加價係正確方向.

傳統工廠決定係邊到起係有三個因素: 土地,人 及資本

土地及人工便宜必然會引起公司注意. 好似香港工業北上,國際企業係中國,越南,印度等地開廠.

資本 - 邊個地方可以俾到公司投入較少資本? 都係一個重要因素, 好似美國唔小地方都有offer tax incentives, 中國初期開放係接近free land, free tax. 同埋會唔會政府會唔會同你起埋一d 重要設施,配合你工廠? 都係好重要ga...............

咁點解唔全世界都係中國開工廠? 重有其他因素影響.

供應商群
工廠同自己的供應商一般都係比較近, 一係就要consolidate 所有零件以節省運費.呢到遘緊係近供應商群節省運費而運費比營運一個consolidate facility 便宜 .當公司/行業係奉行postponement strategues - 即係公司係確定有demand (有order)先至生產.
除了零件運費, 完成品運費同stock holding cost 都係2個重要因素.


工廠有冇能力出到一個FCL (Full Container Load). 一個20' container 運費同走half container 散貨係差不多了. 所以Economic of scale 好重要.

如果真係出到FCL 數量. 即使你近供應商群慳了零件運費,工廠per unit cost 都係小了. 但俾多了零件運費同埋stock holding fee 都係冇用.要知道stock holding fee 係冇value added.

7月份工業品出廠價格同比上漲10.0%國家統計局綜合司　2008-08-11 11:05:567月份，工業品出廠價格同比上漲10.0%，原材料、燃料、動力購進價格上漲15.4%。在工業品出廠價格中，生產資料出廠價格同比上漲11.7%。其中，採掘工業上漲34.1%，原料工業上漲14.3%，加工工業上漲7.7%。生活資料出廠價格同比上漲4.6%。其中，食品類價格上漲9.1%，衣著類上漲2.4%，一般日用品類上漲4.3%，耐用消費品類下降0.2%。分品種看：―原油出廠價格同比上漲41.2%。成品油中的汽油、柴油和煤油出廠價格分別上漲32.6%、21.5%和29.4%。―化工產品類中，聚苯乙烯價格同比上漲4.3%，順丁橡膠上漲28.3%，滌綸長絲上漲1.3%。―煤炭開採和洗選業出廠價格同比上漲32.6%。其中，原煤出廠價格上漲32.2%。―黑色金屬冶煉及壓延加工業出廠價格同比上漲31.0%。其中，普通大型鋼材價格上漲37.5%，普通中型鋼材上漲47.2%，普通小型鋼材上漲38.3%，線材上漲53.2%，中厚鋼板上漲31.6%。―有色金屬冶煉及壓延加工業出廠價格同比下降2.1%。其中，銅下降0.1%，鉛下降7.9%，鋁下降0.6%，鋅下降28.9%。此外，在原材料、燃料、動力購進價格中，燃料動力類、黑色金屬材料類、有色金屬類和化工原料類購進價格同比分別上漲30.1%、26.9%、2.5%和9.0%。1-7月份累計，工業品出廠價格同比上漲8.0%，原材料、燃料、動力購進價格上漲11.7%。

當市場漸漸飽和,連鎖店係銷售量不能增加(更可能減少). 利潤減少(促銷減價保持銷量).
1. 超市會
A. 加大市場佔有率,增加分店
主要係要做到Economic of Scale,同埋食Warehouse /logistic 固定成本重可以加大自己同vendor (供應商)bargaining power.

B. 增加物品種類 / 服務
出售新產品,增加人流, 同時增加交叉銷售,食Warehouse /logistic 固定成本重可以加大自己同vendor (供應商)bargaining power.同時將slow moving stock + low profit margin items 踢走.

香港大部份超市,百貨公司同部份便利店都完成上述過程. 所以你去邊到買野都係咩都有. 由飲品,食品,Hardgoods 同 softgoods 都有.

如果完成上邊兩個steps, 做做下都會再出現市場飽現象. 咁再下一步一般都會加大自家品牌產品(Private Label). 即係直接同工廠(或唔同brand name, 同佢搵個OEM 工廠做). 一般Private Label 利潤都比賣Brand name 高. 所以大家行X惠,日X城,百X, 惠X 同X之島. 都會見到佢自己d brand 產品.

平面的世界
如果公元6至14世紀君士坦丁堡(Constantinople)是全球的貿易中心、並於13至15世紀轉移至威尼斯(Venice)，15至18世紀是西班牙人的航海和貿易世界，那麼17至19世紀貿易中心便是英國人控制的殖民地版圖。有一點可以肯定，全球化(Globalization)並不是甚麼新事情。舉19世紀的英國為例，貨物由東面的香港、新加坡、中國(鴉片戰爭後的通商口岸)，經過印度、南非，再達到英國，然後英國人再將東方的入口貨(例如中國和印度的茶葉)再轉口至歐洲大陸賺取可觀的利潤。到了20世紀中後葉至21世紀，全球化貿易並沒有消失。相反，在互聯網和其他資訊科技的推動下，全球化演化為全球供應鏈管理(Global Supply Chain Management)，其目標是「Deliver the Right Thing, at the Right Time, & at the Right Place」。有幾點值得留意:1) 這是供應(價值)鏈之間的競爭2) 由客戶下單、生產策劃、生產過程、生產管理、直至貨物運抵客戶手上，可能不超過兩至三個星期，亦是「Delivery Time」的縮短。3) 另外，供應鏈極具彈性。一件產品會被進一步分拆為不同部件，而每項部件將於全球最合適的地方生產。因此，協調和供應鏈管理的能力是十分重要的。4) 由於供應鏈的彈性和縮短的「Delivery Time」，客戶可以按「End Market」的經濟情況而向供應鏈管理者下不同的單，例如從「Consumer Discretionary」和「Consumer Staples」之間互相轉換。5) (4)亦說明供應鏈管理者不會沒有生意，即使「End Market」的經濟環境轉差。6) 供應鏈管理者的增值點是協助客戶減省成本，「Direct Production Cost」可以減省的不多，反而「Soft 3 Dollars」中能減省的空間不細。若然一件產品的「Total Cost」為$4，$1是「Direct Production Cost」，而$3是涉及運輸、存貨、行政和稅務等「Soft 3 Dollars」。7) 供應鏈管理者不會擁有任何工廠(即使工廠網絡跨越亞洲、東歐和南美諸國)，而是協調人的角色。8) (7)亦暗示供應鏈管理者是「Asset Light Enterprise」，並不需要每年投入巨大的「CapEx」。

美房地產壞消息不斷 財政部再關閉兩家分行

（法新社華盛頓 二十六日電） 美國 房地產危機席捲金融體系，財政部再關閉位於美國西部的兩家聯營銀行。
財政部貨幣監理署昨天晚接管加州新港灘的第一傳統銀行，以及位於內華達州雷諾 的第一國家銀行內華達分行，指出這兩家銀行資本不足，且面臨資本整個虧損一空。
美國聯邦存款保險局在一份聲明中指出：「這兩家銀行的二十八個辦事處將於二十八日重新開放，成為奧瑪哈共同銀行的分行」。
「所有存款戶，包括存款金額高於聯邦存保上限的存款戶，將自動成為奧瑪哈互惠銀行的存款戶，總存款金額不變」。
除了承受所有存款戶之外，奧瑪哈互惠銀行也將支付兩億美元 ，以獲得這兩家倒閉銀行的資產，這兩家銀行目前是在聯邦存款保險局控制的破產管理狀態下。
美國房地產價格崩滑、房貸違約蔓延、與房貸相關的數十億美元證券市場崩跌，這兩家銀行倒閉後，使過去十八個月中在美國倒閉的銀行數目達到十家。

Soft 3 dollar 係整合網絡及宏觀視野的結果.

香港其實都有唔小整合網絡生類似"軟3元"的實用例子:

1. 村巴
香港唔小地方都係返工唔方便但人流不足夠開新巴士線.
返工人士寧可俾多小小錢去搭一程車,同埋save travling time.
旅遊巴係idle hours 時間可以多個搵$$$$$$$$$$$機會.
屋苑業主會開村巴俾住客搭,不過最後都係連附近非住客都搭埋.

旅遊巴+交通不便搭客+屋苑業主會(走法律gap)

好似幾間巴士公司最初都係咁投訴,不過最後好似自己都開埋村巴公司.玩埋一份(好似係當年KMB做先).

溫家寶強調要控制物價 (20:37)

總理溫家寶近日在廣東調研時指出，當前經濟運行還存在不少突出矛盾和問題。
他表示，要增強風險意識和憂患意識，努力實現經濟平穩較快發展、控制物價過快上漲的目標。
溫家寶說，當前廣東經濟社會發展同全國一樣，形勢是好的，但面臨不少新的困難和問題，特別是世界經濟增長放緩，外部需求收縮，對珠三角地區一些面向出口的中小企業影響加大。應對這些挑戰，根本出路在於深化改革開放，推動科學發展。重點要做好幾個方面的工作：一要加快轉變經濟發展方式，推動產業結構優化升級，力打造世界先進製造業基地和現代服務業區域中心。二要拓展對外開放廣度和深度，著力增強國際競爭力，大力提高引進來的水平，加快實施“走出去”戰略，把開放型經濟提高到一個新水平。三要堅持互利共贏、平等協商的原則，創新合作思路和方式，大力推進粵港澳緊密合作。
十九日至二十日，溫家寶冒著高溫酷暑來到廣州、東莞、深圳等地調研，深入廣州永勝鋼鐵製品有限公司、東莞華寶鞋業有限公司、宏威數碼機械有限公司、深圳市好易通科技有限公司、康佳集團股份有限公司等企業，了解生產、銷售和研發情況，傾聽大家的意見。

高虎城說調整政策助出口商

商務部副部長高虎城說，某些行業和企業在出口運行中遇到了一些困難，當局會適時作出政策調整。 高虎城在第104中國進出口商品交易會新聞發布會上說，商務部將進一步調查、分析、研究這些困難，適時做出政策調整。

中国银行第一季度利润增幅较大，主要得益于净利息收入增加、中间业务收益增加和税率降低。报告期内，中国银行继续调整债券投资的规模和优化债券投资结构，审慎管理外币投资组合，努力控制风险并提高收益。同时加大吸收存款的力度，扩大和巩固了稳定的低成本资金来源。整体生息资产规模和平均收益率稳步提高，净利差、净息差水平稳中有升，第一季度共实现净利息收入人民币408.15亿元，同比增长18.74%。
中国银行中间业务亦保持快速增长势头。在传统优势的贸易融资业务迅猛增长的带动下，通过持续加强产品创新和提高服务水平，促使国际结算相关手续费实现了飞跃性的增长，咨询顾问业务的手续费收入也成倍增加。第一季度集团净手续费及佣金收入同比跃增82.93%至人民币94.54亿元。其中境内机构手续费及佣金收支净额同比增长高达115.58%。
面对宏观调控的形势，中国银行严格执行从紧的货币政策，保持境内人民币贷款在控制内增长。充分发挥多元化、国际化的优势，调整业务结构和收益结构，进一步提高集团多元化经营水平，公司金融、个人金融、金融市场等各业务条线的经营效益均持续实现增长，商业银行、投资银行、证券保险业务协同发展，成效显著。
全面的风险管理架构和运行机制进一步完善，资产质量持续得到改善。第一季度集团已识别减值贷款余额和减值贷款率保持“双降”，信贷成本继续维持在较低水平，减值贷款准备金覆盖率稳步提高。构建海内外一体化发展的经营管理模式，通过设立美洲、欧洲、亚太三大银团贷款中心整合全球资源，充分发挥海内外联动优势，利用卓著的品牌效应，银团贷款业务量和市场地位均得到了大幅提升，收益水平显著提高。
截至2008年3月31日，中国银行资产总额达人民币63,403.52亿元，较上年底增长5.83%。负债总额和股东应享权益总额分别较上年底增长5.96%和4.63%，达人民币58,708.74亿元和4,398.91亿元。其中，客户贷款总额增长7.98%，至人民币30,781.68亿元，客户存款增长5.80%，至人民币46,553.06亿元。
