Dear Alex,
Your quotation no. ABC/2008
Thanks for your quotation for supplying 30 reams of 85gsm paper. I am aware the price of paper has been esclating recently but, frankly, I am not at all happy with this price or your suggestion for remedying the situation.
We had an explicit agreement that your prices would remain unchanged until the end of the calender year. I took this to mean that all goods ordered before the end of the calender year would be supplied at that year's rate. The fact that the order cannot be supplied until the new year is, frankly, not our problem.
Incidentally, I have received a quotation ftom a direct competitor of yours at I do it at a Hong Hong way who has offered to gurantee your original price for the next six months.
In the light of this, may I suggest that you reconsider your quotation to us. If you are unable to match I do it at a Hong Hong way's price, then I regret that we shall have no opion but to transfer our business.
